Shu velveteen fabric
The Shu velveteen fabric has a soft feel, without shedding or pilling, and has diverse styles. It is a popular knitted fabric that has emerged in the past two years. It is widely used in the production and processing of clothing, toys, and bedding products, and is favored by a large number of clothing factories, supermarkets, and traders both domestically and internationally. The production technology of Shu velveteen fabric originated in the United States, was later introduced to South Korea, and not long ago it was introduced to China. It is a single-celled fiber formed by extending and thickening the epidermal cells of cotton seed ovules, mainly composed of cellulose, with some varieties having a content of over 90%. Short fibers with a length of over 13mm can be used for spinning, while fibers shorter than 13mm are used as cellulose raw materials. It is similar to fleece and has a filamentous plush texture with good warmth retention. It is commonly used for lining plush toys, blankets, and clothes, and is now popular to match the surface of gifts and casual shoes. It is made of polyester yarn through a large circular machine (small and medium-sized), which is woven and brushed in two parts, and finally dyed and processed at cost. Compared to fleece, Shu velveteen fabric has the same plush, warmth, and environmental friendliness, but its cost is lower than that of fleece, making it easier to control the defect rate during the production process. The market is gradually becoming a reasonable substitute for fleece. The process flow is POY raw silk → feeding with one roller → heating deformation with one hot box → cooling → false twisting → feeding with two rollers → heating and shaping with two hot boxes → feeding with three rollers → oiling → DTY winding and shaping.
